Know the egg before you spend the cake.
Hatchlog runs the real CombiRank averaging formula Palworld uses for breeding, plus every documented fixed combo, so you can plan your Breeding Farm instead of guessing at it.
Most breeding calculators stop at "here's the answer." Hatchlog also shows you why — the exact target rank, the formula's math, whether a combo overrode it, and a reverse path back to parents you can actually go catch. One tool for the whole loop: plan → breed → verify → repeat.
Four tools, one breeding session.
Every page shares the same live pal database, so a rank you look up on one page lines up exactly with what the others tell you.
Breeding Calculator
Pick two parents, set gender, get the exact offspring — formula math, fixed combos, and same-species results all handled automatically.
Mutation Calculator
See your pair's standard result plus real mutation odds by cake type, and what a mutated egg actually guarantees.
Breeding Tree
Pick any pal and expand its family tree backward — every viable parent pairing, generations deep, all in one view.
Breeding Path Finder
Tell it what you have and what you want. It searches up to two breeding generations and hands you the shortest route.
Pal Database
Every tracked pal's breeding rank and eligibility in one sortable, searchable table — the reference the calculators run on.
Guides
The mechanics explained plainly: the formula, mutations, passive inheritance, and how to actually plan a breeding project.
How does Palworld breeding actually work?
Every pal has a hidden "breeding rank" — lower means rarer and stronger. Breed any two pals and the game averages their ranks, then hatches whichever eligible pal sits closest to that number. A handful of exact pairings override this with a fixed result instead (usually elemental variants), and same-species pairs always breed true. Hatchlog runs all three rules for you — see the full breakdown on the guides page.
