This policy explains what information Hatchlog collects and how it's used. The calculators themselves run entirely in your browser — the pal you search for or the pair you breed is never sent to a server to compute a result.

1. Information we don't collect

Hatchlog does not require an account, does not ask for your name or email to use any calculator, and does not store your breeding calculations on a server. Search inputs and calculator results are processed client-side, in your browser, using JavaScript.

2. Information collected automatically

Like most websites, the server hosting Hatchlog may automatically log standard technical information when you visit — such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages visited — for security and basic traffic analysis. This is standard web server behavior, not something Hatchlog-specific tooling adds on top.

3. Cookies and analytics

If Hatchlog uses an analytics service (for example, to understand which tools are most used) or serves ads in the future, that service may set cookies or use similar technologies to collect usage data. Where applicable, this section should be updated to name the specific service(s) in use (e.g. a particular analytics or ad provider) and link to their own privacy policy — update this before publishing if you add any such service.

4. Third-party links

Hatchlog may link out to community wikis, guides, or other external resources. Hatchlog is not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites you navigate to from here.

5. Children's privacy

Hatchlog is a general-audience reference tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It does not have age-gating because it does not collect personal information in the first place beyond standard server logs described above.

6. Your choices

You can use most browsers to block or delete cookies, and browser extensions to limit tracking, without affecting your ability to use Hatchlog's calculators — they don't depend on cookies to function.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the Site adds features (such as analytics or accounts). Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
